About Us
Volks Conversions are an independent business run by two surfing buddies who love VW’s, camping and exploring.
Having fallen in love with cars and vans as a teenager, Chris decided to channel his enthusiasm into mechanics and now has over 37 years of experience in the trade.
On the other hand, Jim took a different route and utilised his entrepreneurial spirit to found and launch multiple successful businesses, including Greenheat Wales, Chilli penguin stoves and JimBobs Buses.
After a few beers around the campfire, Chris and Jim decided to join forces and create Volks Conversions to help others experience the joy and freedom of camper van life.
